Látod, ez lett végül köztünk a különbség… Te kutyába sem veszed az embereket. Átgázolsz rajtuk, mit sem törődve álmaikkal, vágyaikkal, életükkel. Mint olcsó sakkbábukat, úgy tologatod őket magad előtt. A becsület, mit a jó ember vérében hord, számodra ismeretlen. Elkerüli házadat. De tudod, mit? Igazad volt, én kutya vagyok.
Kutya, mely hűséges a barátaihoz, és sosem árulja el őket. Kutya, mely életét adja szeretteiért, ha a sors ezt kéri tőle. Kutya, mely a tűzbe ugrik a társáért, és egy pillanatig sem hezitál. Kutya, mely, ha kell, háborúba megy, hogy védje otthonát. Kutya, mely megöregedve sem felejti el, hogy a szeretet a legerősebb kötelék. Kutya, mely ösztönösen tudja, hogy az igazi erő az, ha a gyengét felsegíti, s nem eltapossa. Kutya, mely a bajban kérdés nélkül áll a bajtársai mellé, nem törődve a sebekkel, amiket kaphat.

Like cheap chess-men, you push them in front of you. The honor, that a good man carries in his heart, is unknown for you. It avoids your property. But you know what? You were right, I am a dog.
A dog that is faithful to his friends, and is never going to betray them. A dog that gives his life for his loved ones, if faith requires it. A dog that runs into the fire for his mate, and not hesitant even for a second. A dog that would go to war to defend his home. A dog that wont forget even when old, that the strongest bond is love. A dog that knows intuitively what the real strength is, that if he is helping the weak to get up and not to bring down. A dog that would stick up to his fellows, not caring about the wounds he might get along the way.
